The Hoboken Police Department is investigating “a suspicious package” at the Amazon Flex warehouse at 940 Monroe St. early this evening.

“We are investigating a suspicious package call for service in the area of 940 Monroe St. Please avoid this area while our officers continue the investigation,” the department tweeted at 5:10 p.m.
“As more information becomes available we will update this tweet.”
An update from the commanders on scene indicated that the package in question wasn’t dangerous and therefore Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service would resume.
