For the 2nd time this week, shots were fired on West 18th Street in Bayonne, and while few details are available, no injuries were reported this time around, police said.

Yesterday at 9:42 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Avenue C and John F. Kennedy Boulevard on West 18th Street on a report of shots fired, according to Police Lt. Eric Amato.

No injuries were reported, nor were any victims or shooters were located, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Bayonne Police Department’s Detective Bureau.

On Monday morning, a Bayonne man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times near the same location.
