“It is with great sadness to announce the loss of Nevaeh Hernandez. Today this precious angel was tragically taken from us,” the GoFundMe page says.

“… We are reaching out to our extended families, friends and community to help ease funeral and memorial costs due to this unexpected loss. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Please continue to keep the Hernandez and Conteron family in your prayers throughout this most difficult time.”

The page has seen a tremendous outpour of community support, raising $7,281 towards their $10,000 goal in just 11 hours.

“You will be so missed in ballet Nevaeh. Thank you for bringing us joy each week with your smile…dance in heaven sweet girl! My love and prayers to your entire family,” Marianne Borace Ecanosti wrote on the GoFundMe page.

“We are all heartbroken over this terrible loss, I am praying endlessly for her and family with love,” added Jeanine Bunero.

North Bergen Superintendent of Schools Dr. George Solter confirmed yesterday that a student passed away, with sources telling Hudson County View the girl was a student at Lincoln School.
