UPDATED: Rocco, a Jack Russell Terrier, has been found and will be reunited with his owner at 5 p.m., per Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato.

The Bayonne Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a handful of individuals who stole a dog from someone’s porch on Monday evening.

On Monday, July 24th, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a Jack Russell Terrier named Rocco was secured with a leash on the porch of a residence in the area of 41st Street and Avenue E, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato.

The five individuals (four pictured above) were seen unleashing Rocco, removing him from the porch, and leaving the area. They then boarded a Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train at the 45th Street station in Bayonne bound for Hoboken.

Once at the Hoboken stop, they boarded a PATH train and exited at the 14th Street stop in Manhattan.
