“The safety of our residents is our focus. Our Officers remain diligent. If you drive impaired, you will face serious consequences. The Bayonne Police Department will continue its efforts to eliminate DWI, through the end of the year and beyond,” Geisler said in a statement.
The Peninsula City’s top cop added that six of the arrests have come since a holiday season crackdown on drunk driving has commenced, crediting targeted patrols participating in this enforcement detail.
No additional information regarding the arrests as immediately available.
