“When our immigrant communities have come under attack by the Trump Administration, Rob has been there every step of the way to protect our neighbors and to fight for our communities,” Make the Road Action New Jersey Director Nedia Morsy said in a statement.
“Rob did not hesitate to face down a group of armed ICE and HSI agents at Delaney Hall when the Trump Administration tried to stop Rob and his colleagues from doing their job. He is the fighter we need in this moment and we are committed to returning him to Congress to continue the fight. Our members are proud to endorse him and will be working tirelessly to educate voters on his record of delivering for our neighbors.”
Menendez is facing a challenge from the left in former Jersey City Board of Education President Mussab Ali in the June 2nd Democratic primary as he continues to rack up endorsements for his third term in the House.
“In these trying times, Make the Road Action is one of our most important partners in safeguarding our neighbors and communities,” the congressman added.
“I will always stand tall against the lawless assault that the Trump Administration has unleashed on our cities and towns. I am proud to be in this work with Make the Road Action and am thankful for their advocacy and support.”
