I am a Jersey City resident for over a decade, a proud immigrant, small business owner, and most importantly – a loving father and family man.
Over the years, I have seen our community struggle as growing red tape and ever increasing high taxes have made it more difficult to thrive. I have witnessed state cuts that have left our schools, roads, and infrastructure in disrepair.
Unlike the machine-backed professional politicians in Trenton, I know the struggle that comes from a humble working class upbringing.
My father was a small farmer, my mother was a schoolteacher, and I have worked in retail, in IT, and now own a business that partners with our community businesses in India Square.
It is time for radical change in District 32 because the out-of-touch lawyers that have continually represented us politically do not represent the experiences of the average person.
Higher rents, increased utility bills, always growing property taxes, and basic food items twice the price they used to be, are all making New Jersey unlivable – especially for the younger generations.
We are facing a housing crisis, yet all we hear from status quo political “leaders” is about more regulations that make it more difficult to build a life here.
Instead of charting a path forward that would allow homeownership to more people they craft new laws that chase families and entrepreneurs to other states.
Our taxes disappear into a black box every year, with no real insight as to why our board of education, city, county, and state, need so much from us yet give so little back.
I am proudly running on the Column B team to represent those of us that have been left behind by the political class.
I am running so that together, we can work towards an equitable New Jersey that supports the American Dream that many of us and our ancestors came to achieve.
