In an editorial, Hudson County GOP Chair Jose Arango and Vice Chair Josh Sotomayor Einstein respond to a recent editorial from Knitty Gritty JC member Gerald Miller stating that Jack Ciattarelli as governor would be bad for Hudson.
Knitty Gritty JC is an extremist organization akin to Antifa.
They are so far left wing that they previously backed the ousting of Hudson County Democrat Assemblywoman Jessica Ramirez and tried unsuccessfully in the Democrat US Congressional primary election to replace Representative Rob Menendez – both for not being far left enough.
Now they are targeting NJ’s next governor, Jack Ciattarelli.
In a purposefully distorted version of national events and as part of an effort to make a counter-factual case for continued Democrat dominance of NJ, an author from the far left organization wrote a lie laden op-ed pretending that the term immigrant is synonymous with illegal alien.
As if the implicit bigotry of conflating millions of legal immigrants with those who immigrated by violating the law wasn’t bad enough, the author engages in explicit bigotry by invoking the specter of “racial profiling,” ignoring the fact that illegal aliens come in all races.
The ICE tenders on criminal illegal aliens that Knitty Gritty, Democrat Socialists, Antifa, and other far left movements oppose, allow local law enforcement to notify ICE that an illegal alien is being released after serving time for a criminal offense.
This allows ICE to pick up illegal aliens with a criminal record and deport them in a safe environment.
The misnamed “Immigrant Trust Directive” the author references, prevents NJ law enforcement from informing ICE that an illegal alien with a criminal record is being released from prison.
This allows criminal illegal aliens back on the streets where they terrorize others – other illegal aliens, legal immigrants, and all New Jerseyans.
The scare tactics of the far left unfortunately remain constant, but the era in which NJ believed them is over.
Knitty Gritty and other extremists can’t fathom the shift that has fueled GOP growth in NJ, but when Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli wins the gubernatorial race in November, it will be because his plans make NJ safer for everyone, immigrants and native born.
What a joke the Hudson County GOP is. I never heard of this Nitty Gritty JC before, so I went to their website and anyone that thinks they are a left-wing extremist group is a right-wing-nut. Looks like Nitty Gritty JC have 3 areas of focus:
1) Ranked Choice Voting (since when is this extreme?!)
2) Democracy (I love when right-wing-nuts think that Democracy is extreme)
3) Abortion rights (the majority of Americans are pro choice, hardly extreme)
I also note that the authors continuously use the outdated, dehumanizing phrase “illegal aliens” again and again throughout the letter. Why repeatedly and hysterically cling to this slur? Hint: It’s not about facts—it’s about attempting to make sure immigrants are seen as less than human. That’s not neutrality, that’s racism dressed up as plain talk.
Well-stated, Ignore the Right-Wing Nuts. The actions of the Ciattarelli operative ( who perhaps had a mole at the National Archive) who handed to that campaign illegally obtained information about the next Governor, Ms Sherrill, would make the notorious Donald Sagretti of Nixon’s CREEP infamy blush in comparison. Trump and Ciattarelli cannot win on the issues so they lie.
Hope someone explains this to candidates in Hoboken. Some think there’s not enough “resources” in the Hoboken police department to pick up a phone and hold a wanted criminal for federal law enforcement.
