Julio Martinez, 71, of Hoboken, was charged with criminal mischief, according to public safety spokeswoman Marci Rubin.

On Wednesday,  Feb. 15th, just before 7 p.m., Police Officer Samuel Flores responded to the Hoboken University Medical Center on the report of someone throwing a rock through a glass door.

Martinez remained on scene and was placed under arrest for damaging the glass door, valued at $500. Based on having an existing open Hoboken warrant for disorderly conduct, the criminal mischief charge was placed on a warrant.

After being processed, he was transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility, Rubin said.
