Emilio Acosta has been missing since December 18th, as HCV first reported, last seen on surveillance camera footage at a Secaucus gas station.
According to his family, he left home without any identification and without needed medication and could be a danger to himself and others.
“We are grateful to law enforcement for their assistance, especially the Weehawken Police Department and our friends and neighbors for all the help they have provided and continue to provide to us,” Ilde Acosta, Emilio’s father, said in a statement.
“We know he could potentially be with someone, we just want to know he’s okay and alive. The unknown is heart breaking! Emilio is a great young man, it’s agonizing not to know where he is!”
The up to $5,000 reward is available to anyone who provides credible information, which can be submitted anonymously, that leads to the safe return of Emilio Acosta.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Weehawken Police Department at 201-863-7800.
