U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-11) will discuss her gubernatorial run with the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce next week, making her the final statewide candidate to address them prior to the June 10th primary.
The ticketed breakfast will take place on Tuesday, May 27th between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the Hudson County Community College Culinary Arts Center located at 161 Newkirk St. To register, click here or call 201-386-0699.
Part of its Meet the Candidates Series, the Hudson Chamber has invited all major candidates for New Jersey Governor through its Employer Legislative Committee (ELC).
Sherrill is widely viewed as the frontrunner to win the Democratic nomination for governor, though Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka are also still seen as contenders.
Fulop, Baraka, U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-5), former state Senate President Steve Sweeney, and New Jersey Education Association President Sean Spiller have all previously appeared before the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce.
