On October 30th at 4:40 p.m., the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division completed an investigation in relation to a sexual assault that occurred in October of 2023 in the area of 300 Plaza Drive, Miller said in a statement.
Fenghua Zhao, 50, of New Hyde Park, New York, was charged with sexual assault and false imprisonment.
According to Miller, Zhao and the victim are known to one another and it is alleged that the arrestee “held the victim down as he committed the sexual act.”
Zhao was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road, issued his complaint warrant, and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
