“People were surprised to learn that for the price of one ticket, just $100, we can get a veteran off the streets for a night,” NJVSA President Eric Crafton, a U.S. and Army National Guard veteran, said in a statement.

“This event is about showing our community how simple it is to step up for those who served us.”

NJVSA has helped over 65 returning soldiers and veterans obtain immediate access to medical and mental services after struggling with service connected issues.

Additionally, their unique “King/Queen for a Day” events, like Broadway shows and water park outings are designed to help veterans rebuild bonds with their families following isolation due to deployments, Crafton added.

A recent partnership with Jack Daniels Volkswagen even provided a brand new ID Buzz van to chauffeur veterans and their families to a Broadway performance that needed transportation.

“This fundraiser isn’t just about raising money. It’s about rallying our community to ensure no veteran is left behind. From emergency housing to Broadway trips that reconnect families, we bridge the gaps that bureaucracy can’t,” Crafton concluded.

Anyone interested in purchasing tickets can do so here.
