Hudson County Clerk’s Office will use 4 color-coded VBM envelopes for each type of election

The Hudson County Clerk’s Office has announced they will be using four different kinds of color-coded vote-by-mail envelopes for each election going forward.

The new design will feature a designated color stripe to clearly state which election the envelope is for which will include orange for annual school board elections in April, special elections, and runoff elections.

The other three colors will only be assigned for one type of election each: green for May non-partisan races, blue for June primary contests, and maroon for general elections in November.
