“This grant program is an exciting opportunity for community and event organizers to bring innovative and culturally enriching experiences to Hoboken,” HBA Executive Director Roxanne Earley said in a statement.

“By supporting events that utilize our city’s unique public spaces, we aim to enhance the vibrancy of our community, bring visitors to Mile Square City, and drive economic growth for local businesses.”

The program will provide financial support to event producers and groups who wish to create unique and engaging events within the City of Hoboken.

The program targets events that leverage public, outdoor, or other highly visible spaces, highlight the local community, and offer distinctive cultural experiences.

Eligible events must take place before June 30th, 2025, and will be evaluated based on their proposed economic and cultural impact, the degree to which they demonstrate collaboration and partnership among Hoboken businesses and organizations, their innovation and uniqueness, and their overall accessibility to the public.

As part of the HBA’s Strategic Plan, the event grant program aligns with the organization’s broader goals of improving Hoboken’s business landscape and public realm.

The Grant Program proposes both monetary and in-kind support for events in Hoboken. Interested applicants can apply here while more information can be found here.
