“I am delighted to welcome Christine Stoll to my team as chief of staff. Her dedication, experience and commitment to service make her an invaluable asset in advancing the priorities of our office to drive positive change in both our district and in Trenton,” Allen said in a statement.

“Together, we will strive to make meaningful progress and serve our constituents with passion and integrity.”

Stoll most recently served the director of special events for Hochul and served in a similar role when Hochul was lieutenant governor.

She was responsible for the strategic execution of the governor’s official appearances, collaborating with multiple stakeholders on her events and ensuring the governor’s messaging and initiatives were implemented into event programming.

Stoll also previously served as chief of staff to former New York Assemblyman Michael Miller and as a staff member to New York City Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley.

She was also elected as a district leader in 2018, representing the 32nd Legislative District in New York and also served as an active member of the Queens County Young Democrats in 2020 and 2021.

“I am deeply honored and eager to lead Assemblyman-elect Allen’s office. I’m committed to working tirelessly to support his vision, serving the residents of Hoboken and Jersey City, and making a significant impact in our community,” she added.

Stoll got married to Vijay Chaudhuri, Bhalla’s campaign treasurer and a top City Hall staffer, in September and the Hoboken mayor, who is now running for the Congress in the 8th Congressional District,  served as the officiant of the wedding.

“It’s official! Christine and Vijay are married! On this beautiful, sunny morning, Christine and Vijay officially tied the knot,” Bhalla tweeted on September 9th.

“I was honored to officiate the ceremony. Vijay is like a brother to me and he is blessed to have Christine as his better half. Congrats to the newlyweds!”

Allen, also a former chief of staff to Bhalla, was unopposed in the primary and general elections this year and will be serving his first term alongside Assemblywoman-elect Jessica Ramirez. He replaces Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro, who served for four terms.

Chaparro’s old running mate, Assemblyman Raj Mukherji, is now the state senator-elect in the 32nd Legislative District following redistricting.
