“Hoboken deserves a different kind of mayor — one who puts residents first, leads with integrity, and has the experience to deliver results from day one,” Fisher said in a statement.

“Together, we’re building a stronger, safer Hoboken where residents are at the center of every decision. This team has the expertise, vision, and commitment to deliver for Hoboken.”

For citywide offices, in this case the mayor and council-at-large, 100 valid signatures are required to make the ballot.

Fisher’s running mates competing for Hoboken’s three council-at-large seats are former Councilman Dave Mello, Liz Urtecho, and Carter Craft.

For the 6th Ward special election to succeed the late Jen Giattino, Diane Imus is running on Team Fisher with the blessing of Joe Giattino, Jen’s husband.

Only 50 valid signatures are required to get on the fall ballot for the 6th Ward council race.

“Each one of us brings a unique perspective and expertise, but we’re bound by a shared vision and love for Hoboken. I’m excited to run with these amazing community leaders, and I know they’ll each make Hoboken proud,” Fisher added.

The other declared mayoral candidates are 3rd Ward Councilman Mike Russo, 4th Ward Councilman Ruben Ramos, Councilwoman-at-Large Emily Jabbour, and former U.S. Treasury official Dini Ajmani.

There are 15 candidates declared for the at-large race, 14 connected to a mayoral candidate and one running independently, with three candidates announced in the 6th Ward for the time being.

The filing deadline in Hoboken is tomorrow at 4 p.m.
