U.S. Rep. Rob Menendez (D-8) raised $504,240 in the first quarter of this year, with $1,012,812 cash-on-hand as he seeks a third term, his campaign says.

“Since day one of this campaign, we have executed on a strategy that will give us a decisive advantage heading into June. We have built a strong, diverse coalition of support, raised over $500,000 this quarter alone, earned key endorsements, and brought on a seasoned campaign manager,” the congressman said in a statement.
“In Congress, we have a proven track record of delivering for our district and never backing down from the fight to protect everyone who calls our district home. We know what is at stake and that our body of work, Jersey grit and get shit done mentality resonates with voters.”
This cycle, Menendez has also given and raised $223,000 for House Democrats to retake the majority, $65,500 of which went to support Hispanic Democratic Members of Congress and congressional candidates, his campaign added.
Last week, former Jersey City Board of Education President Mussab Ali’s campaign said he raised $183,000 in his bid to unseat Menendez in the June 2nd primary, but he’s facing long odds at the moment.
Menendez has the backing of multiple labor unions, as well as elected officials such as U.S. Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ), Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, state Senator (D-33)/Union City Mayor Brian Stack, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy, and Hoboken Mayor Emily Jabbour.
To further bolster his campaign, Menendez hired Ryan Eustace as his campaign manager.
He managed Jabbour’s 2025 Hoboken mayoral race, leading her and her slate of three council at-large candidates to successful general and run-off elections.
Eustace also previously served as the legislative director to then-Jersey City Ward E Councilman James Solomon, who was elected mayor in December.
The campaigns of both Ali and Menendez declined to release the Q1 reports they filed with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) before they become publicly available on their website.
