Hoboken 2nd Ward Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher raised $51,085.74, including a $30,000 loan, and has $38,635.69 cash on hand in the first week of her mayoral run, according to her April 15th campaign finance report.

While the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (NJ ELEC) reports covers the time frame between January 1st and March 30th of this year, there is not much ground to cover in Fisher’s case since she announced for mayor on March 25th.

Nearly all of her donors gave $500 or less, with a couple of exceptions being her father David, who wrote a check for $2,500, and Hoboken Community Center founding board member Toni Tomarazzo, who gave $1,000.

On the expenditure side, Fisher paid Brooklyn-based Phocus Creative $3,750 for website and computer consulting and Lambertville’s Publitics firm $7,950 for handouts, flyers, and palm cards.

Fisher is one of five candidates declared in the non-partisan November 4th contest.

The others running for mayor of the Mile Square City are 3rd Ward Councilman Mike Russo, 4th Ward Councilman Ruben Ramos, Councilwoman-at-Large Emily Jabbour, and former U.S. Treasury official Dini Ajmani.

Russo remains the top fundraiser with the most cash on hand by a wide margin for the moment, though Fisher has alleged he is not complying with ELEC guidelines.
