Shania Matthews, 27, of Bayonne, along with three male juveniles from Jersey City – 13, 16, and 16 – were all charged with robbery, riot with use of a weapon, and conspiracy, Drago said in a statement.

Additionally, Mathews was further charged with employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime.

On December 24th, at approximately 9:17 p.m., Bayonne police officers responded to The Wine Warehouse, located at 77 Lefante Way, on a report of a robbery.

Upon their arrival, the victim advised officers that he was physically assaulted by three males and a female when attempting to stop the female from exiting the store with items she did not pay for.

In addition, two of the juveniles had damaged the front glass door. Officers were able to ascertain a description of the robbers who had just fled the area and provided it to all available units.

Additional responding officers located Matthews and the juveniles in the area and identified them as the actors.

Matthews and the juveniles were subsequently taken into custody and processed accordingly.

She was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, while all three juveniles were remanded to separate youth detention centers, authorities said.
