A young man in his mid-20’s was shot and killed in Jersey City last night, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Ray Worrall confirmed.

According to published reports, the victim was killed at approximately 500 Grand St., but Worrall could not confirm or deny any other additional details surrounding the fatal shooting.
The shooting death marks the 25th homicide in the county in 2016, as well the 21st in Jersey City.
