A Hoboken man has been charged with attempted murder for a Father’s Day shots fired incident where no one was injured, officials said.

On Sunday, June 18th, at approximately 2:15 p.m., uniformed patrol officers, under the supervision of Sgt. Adam Colon responded to the 500 block of Jackson St., on a report of shots fired, Public Safety Director Kenneth Ferrante and Police Chief Steven Aguiar said.
After an initial search and investigation, the incident was corroborated and turned over to the Hoboken Police Department’s Investigation Bureau, under the supervision of Det. Sgt. William Collins and Det. Lt. Richard Torres.
No one was injured in the shooting and no property was damaged.
A two-day investigation led by Dets. Tyler Soto, Michael Losurdo, and Fabian Quinones identified Crandell, 23, as the suspect, and a warrant was executed for his arrest.
Today at approximately 12:20 p.m., Crandell turned himself into Hoboken Police Headquarters without incident.
He was charged with criminal attempted murder, causing or risking widespread injury, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Crandell was also processed on an aggravated assault summons for his involvement in a street fight in Hoboken on May 7th. As a result, he was transferred to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

“I commend the entire team who worked tirelessly on this case, bringing the suspect to justice swiftly and safely. This thorough investigation and quick arrest reaffirms the Hoboken Police Department’s dedication to all the residents of Hoboken,” Aguiar added.
Hoboken Police Officers Jessica Arebalo, Christopher Barral, Matthew Bonanno, Marco Grossman, Frank Lombardo, and Jessica Pizanie were involved in this investigation and arrest, authorities said.
