A Hoboken man was arrested for robbing $50,000 from the local Bank of America at 1 Firehouse Plaza last week, police said.

Everton Gunter, 31, of Hoboken, was charged with robbery, according to Police Det. Lt. Jonathan Mecka.
On October 5th at approximately 2:30 p.m., Hoboken Police responded to the Bank of America near the intersection of 2nd and Hudson Streets on the report of a robbery.
The robber, later identified as Gunter, was reportedly able to flee the bank with $50,000 prior to police arrival. He was arrested and processed on Sunday, October 9th without any of the stolen proceeds.
Additionally, no weapons were produced during the commission of this robbery.
His charges were placed on a warrant and he was transferred to Hudson County Correctional Facility after the arrest process, authorities said.
Last July, Gunter was arrested for robbing two TD Banks in Hoboken.
