The Kearny Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at Quick Check that occurred early yesterday morning.

At around 3:13 a.m. on Monday, Kearny police responded to a call of an armed robbery at Quick Chek, located at 238 Kearny Ave., according to Police Sgt. Paul Bershefski.
Workers at the establishment told police that a black man, wearing dark clothing and a mask, entered the store, brandished a gun and demanded money before fleeing the scene, authorities said.
No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation, officials said.
