The Hoboken Police Department promoted two officers, William Bullock and Det. David DiMartino, to the rank of sergeant during an outdoor ceremony on Friday.

Bullock, who joined the force in 2014, and DiMartino, who became an officer in 2008, were both promoted during a ceremony in front of the police department at 106 Hudson St.
Prior to the ceremony, Rabbi Moshe Schapiro, of Chabad of Hoboken and Jersey City, performed an end of Hanukkah blessing for the two new sergeants, Police Chief Kenneth Ferrante tweeted.
Additionally, the Hoboken Police Superior Officers Association were happy to welcome Bullock and DiMartino to their ranks.
