The Hoboken Housing Authority Board of Commissioners approved Secaucus law firm Fitzpatrick & Waterman as new general counsel and also introduced their new Deputy Executive Director, Ravon Anderson, at last night’s meeting.

The HHA board unanimously approved a one-year, $50,000 contract for Fitzpatrick & Waterman, of Secaucus, replacing Charles Daglian – who was working for the agency without a contract for roughly a year.
Interim Executive Director Robert DiVincent told Hudson County View that the contract is pending approval from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, better known as HUD, and he expects the new counsel to be serving the HHA by April 1.
Additionally, Anderson, who grew up in the Hoboken Housing Authority, told the crowd on hand it felt great to come home.
Anderson, who was hired by DiVincent on February 1 at a salary of $55,000 a year, elaborated on his new opportunity when speaking one-on-one with Hudson County View.
Anderson added that he previously worked with the HHA as the modernization coordinator from about 2005 until 2009, on top of working as a building inspector for the state of New Jersey’s Rehabilitation, Recovery, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) program.
HHA Chairwoman Dana Wefer announced in December that the authority would be seeking a deputy executive director in 2015.
