Union City police seeking public’s help to locate 13-year-old ‘in need of his medication’

The Union City Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a 13-year-old that has been missing since Sunday and “is in need of his medication.”

Jairo Ureno, 13, was last seen on Sunday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m. when a photo shows him leaving his residence in Union City, their police department posted on social media this morning.

He was seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black & white sneakers. He is approximately five-feet, five inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds, officials said.

Ureno is said to frequent the area of Washington Park, 11th & West Streets, 12th Street, and is also known to visit the Hoboken and Jersey City area. Authorities did not specify what condition[s] he had that require medication.
