A teacher at the Robert Menendez Elementary School, better known as School No. 3, in West New York was arrested earlier this week as part of a federal investigation into a child pornography ring, sources told Hudson County View.Â

On Monday, FBI agents, assisted by the West New York Police Department, convened on a teacher’s home near the intersection of 66th Street of Broadway to make an arrest as part of the probe, according to sources with knowledge of the situation who weren’t authorized to speak on the matter.
Authorities also paid a visit to her school on Monday, but sources declined to get into the particulars of the probe.
The West New York Police Department declined to comment, citing that the arrest was a part of an ongoing federal investigation.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Attorney’s press office in Newark deferred comment to their office in the Southern District of New York, who did not return an email or calls seeking comment.
