Sources: FBI visits West New York Board of Education building

According to multiple sources at the West New York Board of Education, who spoke under the condition of anonymity since they were not authorized to speak on the matter, the FBI came to 6028 Broadway on Monday to question employees about contracts recently approved by the board.

No further details could immediately be confirmed about the visit, which appears to be a part of a larger investigation.

As only Hudson County View reported last week, Board of Education President Vilma Reyes and trustee Angela Duvall were interviewed by the FBI about the same subject.

Superintendent of Schools John Fauta declined to comment, while FBI spokeswoman Barbara Woodruff said it was standard procedure to not confirm or deny the existence of an ongoing investigation.
