When Hudson County View arrived at the scene around 9:15 a.m. this morning, members of the West New York Police Department and Hudson County Sheriff’s Office had blocked off the area between 61st Street and Bergenline Avenue, as well as 61st Street and Van Buren Place.

The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit was working to try and determine what factors were involved in the fatal accident, studying the area surrounding a Hello Kitty backpack and a black, pink and gray jacket covered in blood.
