Michael Jimenez, who also serves as corporation counsel in West New York and Guttenberg, as well as special counsel to the North Bergen Board of Education, and labor counsel to the Hudson County Schools of Technology, joins Jersey City Judges Carlo Abad and Margaret Marley in being nominated.

Abad is the chief municipal court judge and was reappointed through June 14th, 2023 back in June.

The New Jersey Globe first reported the story minutes ago.

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop is up for re-election in November and is in a position to select two new judges ahead of a bid for this third term, assuming the state legislature confirms the nominations.
