Prosecutor’s office investigating man found dead inside Jersey City home

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the circumstances of a man found dead inside a Jersey City home yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday, shortly after 1:30 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department received a report of
an unresponsive male at 112 Wilkinson Ave.. Responding officers found an unresponsive male inside that location with apparent head injuries, Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

The male, later identified as Gregory Harvey, 60, of Jersey City, was pronounced dead at
approximately 2:05 p.m. The cause and manner of death are pending an investigation by the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating this case with assistance from the
Jersey City Police Department. No arrests have been made at this time.
