The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a main intersection in the Town of Harrison, authorities said.

“Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit is on the scene at Harrison Avenue and Rodgers Boulevard in Harrison investigating a fatal shooting of a male. More information to follow,” the prosecutor’s office tweeted around 8:21 a.m. this morning.
The incident, which occurred early this morning, is just one block away from the Harrison Town Hall and police station.
No further information was immediately available.
