A 20-year-old North Bergen was charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl last month, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Sebastian Chevasco, 20, of North Bergen, is charged with sexual assault and simple assault, a disorderly persons offense, Suarez said in a statement.
He was arrested at his residence and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
The crimes were committed on October 14th, at a residence in North Bergen. The defendant is known to the victim.
Suarez credited the HCPO Special Victims Unit with the investigation and arrest. Anyone wishing to report a sex crime should call the HCPO SVU at 201-915-1234.
