A Jersey City man was been arrested for “multiple sex crimes” against an underage girl who was between the ages of 11 and 15 at the time, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Yesterday at approximately 1:05 p.m., members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Deivis Feliz Rivera, 37, of Jersey City, on charges involving multiple sexual crimes against a young girl who was between the ages of 11
and 15 at the time, Suarez said in a statement.
The victim was in the custodial care of the defendant when the crimes occurred.
On Friday, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit were
notified by the Jersey City Police Department about the alleged crimes and Feliz Rivera was arrested in Paterson without incident following an investigation by the HCPO Special Victims Unit.
Feliz Rivera has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by contact, endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated criminal sexual contact.
After his arrest, Feliz Rivera was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in
Kearny pending his first appearance.
Suarez credited the HCPO Special Victims Unit and the Paterson Police Department with the arrest.
