Page Rivera, 34, is charged with one count of third-degree hindering, Suarez said in a statement. She was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Jersey City and released pending her first court appearance on Wednesday, March 15th.

On Friday, February 17th, 2023 members of the Jersey City Police Department’s Cease Fire Unit and the U.S. Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred in Jersey City on Friday, February 10th, 2022.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined the individual, who was wanted on charges that include attempted murder and various weapons offenses, was arrested at Rivera’s residence.

Rivera, through her employment at the Jersey City Police Department, was aware of the arrest warrant that was issued for the individual she allowed to stay at her residence.

Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internal Affairs Unit and the Jersey City Police Department Internal Affairs Unit with the investigation and arrest.
