Police: Three women, one from China, arrested on prostitution charges in Secaucus

Three women from out of state, including one who lives in China, were arrested on prostitution charges in Secaucus last week, police said.

On Friday, the Secaucus Detective Division arrested three women on prostitution charges, according to Police Capt. Dennis Miller.

On October 19th at 5:41 p.m., Secaucus police arrested Stephanie Bryan, 30 of Sacramento, California, for engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution. Bryan was issued her summons and was released from custody, authorities said.

Next, at 7:09 p.m., Jinping Zhang, 42, of Jiang Xi Providence, China was charged with engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution. Zhang was also issued her summons and was released from custody, officials said.

Finally, at 8:45 p.m., Elysha Lewis, 21, of Cameron Park, CA, was also arrested for engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution, police said.

Lewis was further found to have an outstanding no bail warrant out of El Dorado County
Sheriff’s Office, CA and was subsequently charged with being a fugitive from justice. She was served her complaints and was transported to the Hudson County jail, authorities said.
