Police: Three women arrested on prostitution charges at undisclosed Secaucus location

Three women were arrested on prostitution charges at an undisclosed Secaucus location last week, according to Police Chief Dennis Miller.

On Wednesday, June 9th, in an effort to combat vice related crimes within the Town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Detective Division arrested three women on prostitution charges, Miller said in a statement.

At 5:17 p.m., police arrested Lucy Oviedo Ramos, 32, of San Juan De La Maguana, Dominican Republic, for engaging in prostitution. Oviedo Ramos was issued her complaint
summons and was released from police custody.

Then, at 8:01 p.m., Shannon Cave, 25, of Union City, was arrested on the same charges. She was also issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

Finally, at 9:23 p.m., Edily Perez Batista, 25, of Elizabeth, was charged with engaging in prostitution. Like the other two arrestees,  was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody, authorities said.
