Police: Releasing surveillance video leads to arrest of Blimpie burglar in Secaucus

After releasing surveillance video to the media, the Secaucus Police Department was able to arrest a man in connection to the burglary of the local Blimpie sandwich shop.

Christopher Maglione, 48, of Jersey City, was arrested on January 8th near his residence, according to Police Capt. Dennis Miller.

He was charged with burglary, possession of burglar’s tools, and criminal mischief as the result of an incident at the Blimpie, located at 1277 Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus, officials said.

He was processed and transported to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Facility, authorities said.

The Secaucus Police Department thanked Dets. Roman Popowski and Nick Lawson of the Bayonne Police Department, as well as the Jersey City Police Department. for their assistance in the identification and apprehension Maglione.
