Timothy Scott, 39, of Jamaica, New York, was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato.

Yesterday around 10:15 a.m., Scott was taken into custody on a warrant issued for his arrest after being identified as the actor of a burglary which occurred on August 19th.

On that date, the victim reported that her home surveillance camera caught a man, later identified as Scott, entering her father’s parked vehicle and removed numerous items from it.

Scott had already been arrested earlier that day for burglary to a different vehicle and was found to be in possession of the items, later determined to be those removed from this current victim’s vehicle.

After an investigation was conducted, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Scott, charging him with this additional burglary.
