A man was found shot multiple times in front of a Secaucus hotel this morning in what appears to be an isolated incident that remains under investigation, police said.

At about 2:57 a.m. this morning, Secaucus police responded to a report of gunshots fired in front of La Quinta Inn & Suites, located at 350 Lighting Way, according to Police Capt. Dennis Miller.
One male victim was found in front of La Quinta suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital and is currently undergoing surgery, authorities said.
Since the investigation is ongoing, Miller said few other details could be released at this time, though added that “this appears to be an isolated incident and not a random act of violence.”
