A man was busted last week for trying to meeting an underage girl at a Secaucus hotel “for sexual activity,” Police Chief Dennis Miller announced.
On August 15th at approximately 9:09 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Best Western Plus, located at 250 Harmon Meadow Boulevard, and observed suspicious activity on the scene, Miller said in a statement.
As a result, Darwin Urgiles, 34, of North Bergen, was charged with enticing a child. Urgiles was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody, authorities said.
“The defendant intended on meeting a juvenile female for sexual activity. However, his arrest was based on probable cause determined by the on scene investigation,” the chief added following an inquiry from HCV.
