Police: Man busted in Secaucus with 50 wax folds of heroin, 27 ecstacy pills, & capsule of cocaine

A man was busted in Secaucus with 50 wax folds of heroin, 27 ecstacy pills, and a capsule of cocaine after being pulled over for having tinted windows, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

Roshawn Simmons, 34, of Jersey City, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), possession of ecstasy, possession of cocaine, as well as failure to turn over CDS believed to be heroin, ecstacy, and cocaine to law enforcement, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, Miller said in an email.

On August 16th at about 1:51 a.m., a Secaucus police officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Secaucus Road and County Avenue with all four windows tinted so that it was impossible to see into the vehicle.

The vehicle was also found to have a registration that expired in May and Simmons also had a warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff’s office.

During a search of his person, he was found in possession 50 wax folds of heroin, 27 multi-colored ecstasy pills, and one yellow capsule containing a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine, authorities said.
