On Saturday morning, a man shopping at Walmart, located on 150 Harrison Ave., fled from the store when he was questioned by security about shoplifting, according to Police Sgt. Joseph Vulcano.

The actor fled into a weeded area in the next business over as police responded to the call, officials said.

The man pushed one of the officers as he attempted to evade arrest, leading to charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and shoplifting, authorities said.

The individual was caught with $183 worth of merchandise on him and all of the items were recovered and returned to the store, police said.

Further information of the incident was not available on Sunday afternoon.
