An Elizabeth woman was arrested in Guttenberg for kicking a police officer after authorities responded to a call of her being an unwanted guest in a home.

On Sunday, July 14th, members of the Guttenberg Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the area of 68th Street and Madison Street on a report of an unwanted party in a residence, the department wrote in their police blotter.
During their on-scene investigation, officers Andrea G. Guzman, 33, of Elizabeth, for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer for kicking one of the responding officers prior to being escorted out of the home.
Guzman was then transported to the Guttenberg Police Department for her arrest processing, she was issued her complaint summons and then released from police custody, officials said.
