Amber Dunson, 20, of Inkster, Michigan – the passenger of the vehicle – was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (crack cocaine), possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, forgery and credit card theft, according to Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

Graylyn Claiborne, 20, Warren, Ohio – the driver of the vehicle – was charged with wrongful Impersonation, forgery, credit card theft and possession of controlled dangerous substances in a motor vehicle, authorities said.

Yesterday around 5 p.m., a Port Authority police officer was on patrol near the Holland Tunnel entrance in Jersey City when he saw a 2014 Grey Dodge Dart heading east with an obscured rear license plate, police said.

The officer pulled the Vehicle over and when the driver opened the window of the Dodge, a strong smell of burnt marijuana escaped from the opened window – before the driver handed the officer an expired vehicle registration – officials said.

When the occupants exited the auto, multiple ID cards from Florida and Pennsylvania with different names all bearing the Claiborne’s photo were observed. Additional, Illegally possessed identification and credit cards were found on Dunson, authorities said.

Dunson was also in possession of suspected crack cocaine and a digital scale with suspected drug residue. The passenger admitted to being in possession of marijuana and handed it over to the police, police said.

They were both transported to the Hudson County Jail in Kearny following their arrests, officials said.
