Police: Bayonne woman arrested for shoplifting $40-worth of beauty products

A Bayonne woman was arrested on Saturday night for trying to steal $40-worth of healthcare and beauty production from the QuickChek on 260 Broadway, police said.

Christine Gunshefski, 27, of Bayonne, was charged with shoplifting at 6:19 p.m. Saturday when she was caught trying to leave the store with $40.64 in healthcare and beauty products, according to Police Lt. Janine Foy.

Officials did not immediately provide examples of what types of products Gunshefski tried to steal from the local QuickChek.

Her bail was set at $10,000 with a 10 percent option.
