A 63-year-old Secaucus man was arrested for the aggravated sexual assault of a teenage girl last week following an investigation by the detective division, authorities said.

Pedro Delgado, 63, of Secaucus, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Police Chief Dennis Miller.
On July 30th at 4:15 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation being conducted by the
Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in regards to an incident reported to the
police on July 15th involving alleged criminal sexual contact, the police arrested Delgado.
Miller told HCV that the victim was a teenage female and that she was known to the alleged attacker, declining to comment further based on the nature of the incident.
After being arrested, Delgado was issued his complaint summons and was released from custody, officials said.
