Four women were busted for prostitution as part of a Secaucus sting to combat vice-related crimes in town, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
On March 26th, the Secaucus Police Department’s Detective Division arrested Elena Velikaia, 31, of Brooklyn, New York, for engaging in prostitution at around 4:53 p.m.
Then at 6:48 p.m., Nelly Monge, 27, of Paterson, was arrested on the same charge, followed by Rosa Escalera, 25, of San Juan, Puerto Rico, at approximately 8:06 p.m.
Just a few minutes later, around 8:24 p.m., Jonathan Polanco-Cruz, 29, of Woodland Park, was charged with promoting prostitution.
Finally, at 9:06 p.m., Decole Maxwell, 25, of Portland, Oregon, was charged for engaging in prostitution. All parties were issued a complaint summons and released from police custody, Miller said.
