The incident occurred at about 5:50 p.m., when a 46-year-old West New York resident, who was traveling on JFK Boulevard in her white Volkswagen, was hit by a white Porsche – which was knocked into her vehicle by a U-Haul truck – the report says.

Both the driver of the Porsche and Volkswagen agreed the U-Haul truck caused the accident. Meanwhile, the U-Haul driver contends he was forced to swerve when a gray Toyota cut in front of him, police said.

The driver of the Volkswagen was taken to the Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen for minor injuries, while the driver and two passengers in the Porsche were treated at the Hoboken University Medical Center, authorities said, while the U-Haul driver and his passenger refused medical attention.

The U-Haul driver, Lawrence Hardy, from Jersey City, was ticketed for driving without a license, police said.
